“Being in Love in the Manner of Van Gogh” is Khaboushan's first novel published in 2014. It narrates the life of two Iranian painters who fall in love with each other before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, but their passionate story ends badly.
The content of the novel is related to the days of Islamic revolution in Iran. This is a narration of a sad and pure love. The story is about a boy that worked in a house as a waiter and fell in love with the daughter of the house owner. The lover in this novel trying hard to achieve his mistress.
About author:
Mohammadreza Sharafi Khaboushan, was born in 1979 in Shahre-Rey, south of Tehran, is an Iranian poet and writer. Before devoting himself entirely in writing novels, he began with poetry and published three collections of poems telling the lives of men surrounded by objects. As a poet, Khaboushan is more interested in human stories than dreams. After that, he published three novels, one for teenager and the others are for adults.
